Our shop

We stock a range of well priced daily essentials in addition to our extensive range of Arran Aromatics and Highland Soaps. We have a variety of medicines available to purchase and have got a well-stocked MaxFactor make-up stand.

We are in the process of renovating the front shop and have so far installed a feature shelving unit with a sliding ladder. These shelves were upcycled from an old unit from Anstruther surgery that used to store patient notes. This been recently complemented by a new matching counter. Our colour changing LED strip lights that run along the cornicing showcase the quirky front shop quite wonderfully.

We repaired and repointed the gable end in lime mortar at the end of last year. Crail Pharmacy is a sympathetically modernised beautiful building and a lovely place to work in.

Iain Rooney MRPharmS

I've been a community pharmacist since 2003 and have spent the majority of that time working in the local area. I was pharmacy manager at Pittenweem for 12 years before the opportunity arose to buy my own business in Crail in 2021.  I qualified as an Independent Prescriber in 2022.

I live nearby with my wife, 3 boys and 2 dogs. I am a keen golfer and am a member at Crail and Anstruther.

I love living and working in the East Neuk and work hard to ensure that we offer a cohesive service with local healthcare practitioners.

Pharmacies are increasingly becoming the first point of contact for patients and I think we have a real role to play in providing a friendly, approachable continuity of care.

Please pop in and say 'Hi' or 'Ooh that's nice' as you step into our lovely shop for the first time!
